Edward is passionate about the educational aspects of music. For Opera Spanga (among others) he has worked as an opera repetiteur, and he has an extensive knowledge of the opera repertoire. He has also been employed at Rootz Muziekschool in Delft as a piano teacher, and he always enjoys passing on his experience to his students, and helping them to reach a higher level. He is currently employed at the Ballet Department of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, accompanying the ballet classes and striving to inspire the dancers to give their best in the daily training.

As a composer, Edward wrote a lot of music for the final yearly productions of the Youth Theater School in Dordrecht. Edward wrote the music specifically for the voices at hand. That way it was possible to spotlight the talent of the pupils, and create unique performances.
